Hattiesburlesque has returned to the Hub City for the second time. The dancers prepare for their upcoming shows as Valentine's weekend approaches. Dress rehearsals have dwindled down to the final two.
Abigail Allen directs the musical numbers with the help of her associate director and choreographer, Rebecca Chandler. Abigail performs most of the vocals for the show accompanied by the band. AJ Young helps create choreography with the use of everyday props.
Audience members can expect a burlesque twist on modern music. Musical numbers span from "Somethin' Bad" to "Whatever Lola Wants." Whitney Miracle’s performance is the main act in the production. The show closes with all the dancers performing one final number together. Hattiesburlesque is sold out both nights in Hattiesburg but will have a show in Jackson on Saturday, February twentieth.
